Barely a week goes by that we don’t here the question, “How can we make our theatre more environmentally friendly?” or the related query, “My district has grant money set aside for environmentally friendly projects, how can I get some of those funds?” Whether because we’re passionate about the issues or because we have to increase our efficiency & lower operating costs every one of us must grapple with these questions.

Representatives of ETC, Strong, Rosco, Altman, Color Kinetics, Prism Projection, Martin and probably more manufacturers will be on hand to help you answer these questions and more. Whether you are interested in Low VOC paints & coatings, LED lighting fixtures, modern HID followspots to replace your aging incandescent units, or products for any other area of your theatre, please come out and see what these industry leaders have to offer.

While you’re there, take the time to mix & mingle with your fellow Wisconsin Theatre and Production enthusiasts and professionals to share your own tips for greening your theatres.

There will be a product presentation at 5:30 PM. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Leave with a CD containing information on the featured products.

Registration for the Green Theatre Showcase is requested, but not required.  Try to let us know if you’re coming & how many people you’re bringing so we can make sure we’ve got the right amount of refreshments.
